An Oscar for SEED Foundation !
Cérémonie des Oscars du mécénat d’Admical
1er juillet 2014
Récompenser des mécènes engagés dans des actions d’intérêt général pour l’aspect exemplaire, innovant, durable et éthique de leurs politiques de mécénat
SEED Foundation has the great pleasure to inform you that it won the Oscar « Coup de Cœur of the Jury » during the Oscars ceremony of patronage organised by the Admical on the 1st of July 2014!
The Oscars of patronage reward sponsors who are engaged in actions of general interest for the exemplar, innovative, sustainable and ethical aspect of their sponsorship policy.
The jury, which is independent from the Admical and chaired by Patricia Barbizet, managing director of Artemis, is composed of qualified individuals from the business sector, the non profit sector and the field of media and communication.
It is with great pride that Alain Barbier, President of SEED Foundation, received the reward.
This reward highlighted the innovative, original structure that is SEED Foundation and the work that has been accomplished since its creation in 2009. These last 5 years allow us to draw up a positive assessment of its action with 15 projects supported in 9 African countries, for a total amount of 315 000 euros invested to support the development of agricultural activities and to improve nutrition and life conditions of the local populations.
This Oscar arrives at an important moment in the life of SEED Foundation. Indeed, in November 2014, the Fund will celebrate its 5th year of existence and it has already been decided that is would be renewed for the next five years.
« SEED Foundation was the first Fund created by SMBs from different countries and especially from different continents. This reward is for us proof that patronage, and more specifically international patronage is not restricted to the big firms. We hope that it will encourage many other companies of all sizes to get involved! » declares Mathilde Bois-Dubuc, former managing director of SEED Foundation.
